One of Britain's best all-round entertainers, Lyn Paul came to fame in the early 1970s as a member of the New Seekers. After leaving the group in 1974 Lyn set off on a solo career, recording John Barry's theme song to the film The Dove and scoring a Top 40 hit with It Oughta Sell A Million. Lyn quickly became a favourite on the UK cabaret circuit and a regular in annual pantos. In 1997 she made her début in musical theatre, taking the lead role of Mrs. Johnstone in Willy Russell's hit musical Blood Brothers. Since then Lyn has starred in Boy George's musical Taboo and in Footloose The Musical. Lyn has also acted on television, appearing in the popular soap Emmerdale and in dramas such as Doctors, In Deep and Holby City.
