These pages provide details of some of the printed publications - books, theatre programmes, newspapers and magazines - that have featured Lyn Paul during her long career.
In the 1970s seaside holidays in the UK weren't complete without a visit to the local Summer Season show. Between 1975 and 1978 Lyn Paul appeared in the following shows:
In the Summer of 1975 Lyn Paul joined the Frankie Howard Show for a fortnight, keeping British holiday-makers happy with a mix of music and comedy. The songs on Lyn's set list included: Beg Steal Or Borrow, If, Let Me Be The One, Mammy and The Way We Were.

Having appeared in Starrtime '76 in Bournemouth, Lyn Paul signed up for a second Summer Season with Freddie Starr, this time in Margate. Stand-up comedian Mike Burton made it three in a row, having appeared with Freddie Starr in Bournemouth and in Blackpool the year before. The Pamela Devis Dancers once again provided the entertainment in between the main acts. The company was completed by singer Barry Hopkins.
The show was criticised locally for being too "blue" but Freddie Starr wasn't having any of it: "I don't break wind on stage, all I do is blow raspberries" he told the Isle of Thanet Gazette. "I have been blowing them for the past seven years."
He also defended a scene in which he turned his back to the audience as though he were about to urinate: "It's all in the mind... All I am doing is doing up my shirt cuffs." (Isle of Thanet Gazette, Friday, 8th July 1977)
Lyn Paul also defended the show in a letter to the Daily Mirror.

In addition to the Starrtime '77 programme, audiences were able to buy a special 16-page Freddie Starr souvenir programme featuring single-page biographies of Lyn Paul, Mike Burton and Barry Hopkins. This was re-printed for Freddie Starr's Autumn shows at the London Palladium, with the biographies of Mike Burton and Barry Hopkins being replaced by biographies of Mike Goddard, Paul Ridgway and Pamela Devis.
